Sunday, November 26, 2023, the Closing and Inauguration Night of Mathematics Month (Mathmonth) 2023 was held which was attended by Dr. Sugiyanto, S.Si., S.T., M.Si., as Secretary of the Mathematics Study Program, Mr. Muhammad Zaki Riyanto, S.Si., M.Sc., and the big family of the Mathematics Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, both active students of 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and alumni. The event took place at the Gelanggang UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta starting at 18.30 WIB. This event is the culmination of a series of Mathmonth 2023 events with the theme "Optimizing Creativity and Solidarity in Various Arts and Sports".

M. Haidar Ali and Fitriana Nur Latifah served as formal MCs who guided the event. The event began with the opening, then the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an by Hisbullah Najikhan then singing the Indonesia Raya song and the Mars UIN Sunan Kalijaga which was guided by Reina Arum Kurniawati. The next event was the delivery of remarks by several parties, including remarks from the chairman of the committee (Choirunnisa Ramadania), chairman of HMPS Mathematics (Rendi Ferianta), representatives of the Head of Mathematics Department (Mr. Dr. Sugiyanto, S.Si., S.T., M.Si.) and Mr. Muhammad Zaki Riyanto, S.Si., M.Sc. After the speech, the closing of Mathmonth 2023 was symbolically marked by cutting tumpeng by Choirunnisa Ramadania and handed over to Mr. Dr. Sugiyanto, S.Si., S.T., M.Si. and accompanied by Mr. Muhammad Zaki Riyanto, S.Si., M.Sc. and the chairman of HM-PS Mathematics brother Rendi Ferianta.

After cutting tumpeng, it was time to enter the non-formal event which was hosted by Ahmad Fauzan Rahmadri and Arista Sabella Shollichatin as non-formal MCs. The non-formal event began with the appearance of the winner of the 2023 Mathmonth dance competition, namely the class of 2021. Then continued with the distribution of dance competition prizes. The next event was the theater performance of the class of 2021, the distribution of prizes for the winner of the graphic design competition, the musical drama performance of the class of 2022, the distribution of prizes for the futsal competition, the performance of the class of 2023, the distribution of prizes for the winner of the badminton competition, the performance of the class of 2020, the distribution of prizes for the winner of the Mobile Legends competition and the overall champion of Mathmonth 2023 which was won by the class of 2023. Then the next event was the reading of prayers and closing which was then followed by a documentation session as a form of ending the event.
