Undergraduate Thesis

A thesis is an academic work produced through independent research conducted by students under the guidance of supervisors. It can take the form of case studies, literature reviews, software development, or mathematical modeling. Completing a thesis is a graduation requirement for students at the university level. Generally, the purpose of writing a thesis is to:

  1. Enable students to develop a framework of thought based on scientific reasoning principles.
  2. Equip students with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in conducting research.
  3. Foster students' proficiency in composing scientific reports while adhering to the rules of academic writing, encouraging them to value their responsibilities as informed members of society.
  4. Instill a stronger sense of academic responsibility in students, including respect for ethical principles in science and acknowledgment of others' contributions.

However, students often face challenges when starting their research and thesis preparation. These challenges stem from a lack of clarity regarding the necessary steps, including administrative processes and the preparation of a thesis proposal.
