Inauguration of Prof. Dr. Khurul Wardati, M.Si., First Professor in Mathematics Department

A lecturer of Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr., Dra., Hj. Khurul Wardati, M.Si. was inaugurated as a Professor. The Professor inauguration procession took place at the Prof. H.M., Amin Abdullah building, UIN Sunan Kalijaga campus, Wednesday, 17/1/2024. She was inaugurated by the Chairperson of the University Senate, Prof. Kamsi, attended by the Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. H. Al Makin, Vice Rectors, heads of bureaus, Deanate leaders, Unit / Institution / Study Center leaders, academic community, and colleagues, especially from the Mathematics Study Program. She also became the first Professor in the Mathematics Study Program.
Prof. Dr. Khurul Wardati was inaugurated as a Professor of Algebra based on the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Number 36766 / M / 07 / 2023, dated July 25, 2023. In her scientific oration entitled "Basic Ideal Built by Nodes on Cycle Without Exit in Leavitt's Liantasan Algebra," Prof. Dr. Khurul Wardati began her presentation by explaining that Algebra is a branch of mathematics that never misses using mathematical symbols and operations. These two mathematical objects according to Prof. Dr. Khurul Wardati are a small part of Allah's kauniah verses. In Q.S. A'raf verse 179 Allah SWT commands humans to think so that they are not the same as animals.
While about the field of research on Leavitt's Trajectory Algebra Prof. Dr. Khurul Wardati explained, Leavitt's Trajectory Algebra is a combination of Algebra theory with Graph theory. Graph theory is seen as a branch of Mathematics and Computer Science about structures that describe points (vertices) with edges (edges) connecting points, along with their properties. Apart from Geometric, Combinatorics, and algorithmic approaches, Graphs can be viewed Algebraically and is commonly referred to as Graph Algebra. A graph consisting of nodes and edges in Graph Algebra is a directed graph abbreviated as Digraph. Or often called Quiver. The direction of the edge in Quiver forms two mappings, namely the source function and the target function of the edge. Quiver is defined as a 4-tuple Q is two functions that define the source and target of the edge respectively. In the conclusion of her research results to achieve Professor Prof. Khurul Wardati said, the collection of all points on the Quiver Q on the c-Sicle without an exit is hereditary.
