The Department of Education HM-PS successfully held a Concentration Socialization on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in the 1st Floor Theatrical Room, Faculty of Science and Technology. This event raised the theme "Design Your Future and Equip Yourself to Conquer the Real World" which inspired students to be better prepared in determining the direction of their studies. This socialization was intended to provide an overview, understanding, and enthusiasm to active students of the Mathematics Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga in choosing a concentration that suits their interests and goals. Concentration or interest is an important stage where students begin to focus on studying a particular field of science. In the Mathematics Study Program, there are four concentrations offered: Analysis, Applied, Statistics, and Algebra. With this activity, it is hoped that students can be more confident in determining their concentration and be ready to face the real world with the right provisions.

The Concentration Socialization event officially started at 08.40 WIB, opened by Reina Arum Kurniawati as the MC. The event began with the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an by Aufa Aulya Rahmah, then continued with singing the song Indonesia Raya, Hymn UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and March of Students which were sung together with great enthusiasm. A series of speeches also helped to warm up the atmosphere. The first speech was delivered by Ilham Fauzan Asror Hadi as the chairman of the event committee, followed by Muhammad Nurdin as Deputy Chairman of HM-PS. Then the event was also filled with speeches from representatives of the Mathematics Study Program represented by Mrs. Pipit Pratiwi Rahayu, S.Si., M.Sc, one of the Mathematics lecturers at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. At 09.20 WIB, the MC invited M Syaid Abdul Zhafar as the moderator to open the socialization of the first concentration, namely the analysis concentration. One of the analysis lecturers, Mrs. Pipit Pratiwi Rahayu, S.Si., M.Sc., was invited as a resource person to present material related to the analysis concentration. Then the event continued with Septi Nailaturohmah as the moderator opening the socialization of the second concentration, namely the applied concentration. One of the applied lecturers is Mr. Dr. Sugiyanto, S.Si., ST., M.Si invited as a resource person to present material related to applied concentration. Furthermore, the third concentration socialization is the statistics concentration, still with Septi Nailaturohmah as the moderator. One of the statistics lecturers is Mrs. Sri Utami Zuliana, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D invited as a resource person to present material related to the statistics concentration.

After doing the break, back with M Syaid Abdul Zhafar as the moderator to open the last or fourth concentration socialization, namely the algebra concentration began. One of the algebra lecturers is Mr. Muhamad Zaki Riyanto, S.Si., M.Sc invited as a resource person to present material related to the algebra concentration. The Concentration Socialization event attended by students of the Mathematics Study Program class of 2023 and 2024 became an important momentum for all participants to better understand the academic direction they will take. After the entire series of material presentation and discussion sessions were completed, the activity was closed with a joint documentation session full of enthusiasm and togetherness. Through the implementation of this socialization, it is expected that students will not only obtain comprehensive information about each concentration, but also be able to measure their interests and potential more objectively. That way, the selection of concentrations can be done maturely and strategically, as an initial step in designing an academic and career future that is in line with the personal goals of each student.
