The Mathematics Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga held a Scientific Discussion in Statistics on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Mathematics Computer Laboratory, Integrated Laboratory, 4th Floor. The speaker for the Scientific Discussion was Linggar Utami, S.Mat., with the title “Optimization of Lasso Regression.” The discussion covered Lasso regression and its applications, with a focus on optimizing the Lasso regression model. Participants enthusiastically followed the discussion and asked the speaker about their experiences conducting Lasso regression analysis. The Scientific Discussion was attended by faculty members and students.
