Mathematics Study Program Initiates Collaboration with Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of D.I. Yogyakarta Province
Yogyakarta, September 16, 2025 – The Mathematics Study Program conducted an official visit to the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of D.I. Yogyakarta Province as part of an initiative to establish academic collaboration under the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The event took place on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 12:30 PM at the BPS DIY office.

From BPS DIY, the presentation was delivered by Mr. Sentot Bangun W., who attended on behalf of the Head of BPS D.I. Yogyakarta Province.
The main agenda of the meeting was to explore collaboration opportunities in the areas of:

Joint research projects.
According to the Head of the Mathematics Study Program, Epha Diana Supandi, this collaboration is expected to broaden students’ opportunities to gain practical learning experiences at BPS while strengthening the academic contribution to national data and research needs.
“This cooperation is a strategic step in bridging the academic world with the official data institution. We hope this collaboration will have a real impact both on curriculum development and on research contributions,” said Epha Diana Supandi.
Through this initiative, it is anticipated that a sustainable partnership between the Mathematics Study Program and BPS DIY will be established, creating mutual benefits in enhancing education, research, and community service.
