Description | This course studies the application of mathematics to solve several problems in information security, such as information confidentiality, information integrity and digital identity authentication. Some of the concepts discussed are the history of classical cryptography, an introduction to cryptanalysis or secret code breaking techniques, modern cryptography, Block Cipher DES and AES, Stream Cipher, Hash Function, Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange, RSA and ElGamal public key cryptography, Elliptic Curve Cryptography, as well as RSA, ElGamal and DSA digital signatures, and an introduction to post-quantum cryptography. |
