Study Program Curriculum Review Workshop
On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held a "Study Program Curriculum Review Workshop" which took place on the 4th Floor of GKT. This event presented a number of prominent speakers, including Prof. Dr. Khurul Wardati, M.Sc. as Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Shofwatul 'Uyun, S.T., M.Kom., IPM, ASEAN Eng. as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Ir. Dwi Agustina Kurniawati, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM, ASEAN Eng. who serves as Chair of LPM.This workshop aims to review and improve the curriculum of study programs in the faculty environment so that it remains relevant to the needs of the times and scientific developments.
The interactive discussion also involved other stakeholders such as Dr. Ruspita Rani Pertiwi, S.Psi., M.M. (Head of Curriculum & Learning Center of LPM), Sri Utami Zuliana, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Representative of PSMF), and Dr. Epha Diana Supandi, S.Si., M.Sc. (Head of Mathematics Study Program). They provided various strategic inputs regarding the synchronization of graduate learning outcomes (CPL) with graduate profiles and industry needs, as well as the integration of Islamic values in the curriculum. Arif Munandar, M.Sc. (Secretary of Mathematics Study Program) and Aulia Khifah Futhona, M.Sc. (PSMP) also explained the progress of curriculum development for each study program, while Dr. Sugiyanto, S.Si., S.T., M.Si. was present as a representative lecturer of the study program who provided a perspective from the academic implementation side.
This workshop produced a number of important recommendations for strengthening the curriculum based on OBE (Outcome-Based Education) and MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka), including the need to update the RPS and map courses to CPL. This activity is not only an evaluation forum, but also a collaborative event in formulating a strategic direction for sustainable academic development in the Faculty of Science and Technology. With the active involvement of all academic elements, this workshop is expected to be a strong foundation in strengthening the quality of education and increasing the competitiveness of graduates.
